Pros: Good Price, nice flavors and good with beer.
Cons: It claims to be strong, but it's not.

This is a really nice cigar. Especially for it's low price.

The cigar claims to be a strong cigar that produces voluminous smoke, as far I can tell it does not produce lots of smoke and it certainly is not a strong cigar. So my theory is that Luchadors pick the tabacco.

The cigars construction is good, not prefect but it's acceptable for the price. The wrapper is dark and is not over come with viens.

The Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro was easy to light and I didn't have any problems keeping it lit.

It was not spicey and flavors were pleasant and relaxing, but I was in the mood for more of a kick.

Bottom Line: The cigar is a great value and it tastes great but don't expect a super premium cigar.

Pros: Nice leather, cocoa & pepper flavor, price
Cons: Appearance a bit rough

Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro
Toro
6” x 52

ATMOSPHERE: Smoked on a sunny and windy afternoon in beautiful Hood River Oregon while soaking up the scenery. I have smoked several of these before but finally decide to do a review.

PRE-SMOKE:
Scent: Nice strong cocoa and leather from the wrapper. A fruity (almost berry) and leathery scent from the foot.

Appearance: Oily dark brown (almost black) wrapper. Splotchy with 2 rather large patches visible. Decent looking construction.

Feel: Perfect resistance to squeeze.

Pre-light draw: A little pepper tingle on the tongue after a punch cut and a leathery/peppery taste on draw.

SMOKE:
Taste & Flavor: A wonderful combination of leather, cocoa and black pepper. Lots more pepper when expelled through the nose. The leather becomes more dominant at about the 1/3 mark and the cigar begins to remind me a lot of the Padron X000 series.

Strength: Medium.

Feeling: Perfect cigar to chew! Great shape and resistance. .

Scent of smoke: Lots of white creamy smoke even in the windy environment. Scent was sweet like hot chocolate and woody like a campfire.

Heat: None.

Draw & Burn: Good resistance on the draw. Burn was a little uneven at times but that was likely due to the wind. Others I have had have been pretty even.

Finish: Medium length finish with a creamy cocoa flavor and a hint of peppery spice.

OTHER:
Ash: Slightly flaky grey has that held reasonably well (again the wind).

Duration: Nubbed in roughly 1hr and 45 minutes.

CONCLUSION: The IT Super Fuerte Maduro is a great cigar with wonderful leather, cocoa and pepper flavors. As the leather comes out more it reminds me a lot of the Padron X000 which I also love. The IT SF has good construction and a nice burn and is a steal at it’s $4 price tag…it would still be good at double the price in my opinion! In fact, if I was told that I could only smoke one cigar for the rest of my life and price was a factor this would be the one I would choose. By far my favorite cigar by Rocky Patel.

FINAL RATING: 8.5/10

Cheers!

Rob
