Description: Size: 5.75 x 54

Legends Drew Estate - Copper Label: Drew Estate has entertained the world over with innovative, delicious super-premiums that include infused, gourmet blended and (of course) traditional handmades. Using the rich, hearty tobaccos of Esteli, Nicaragua as a cornerstone for each blend, Drew Estate has set itself a cut above the rest thanks to countless trips around the world for the sole purpose of discovering rare tobaccos, then bringing them back to the blending table where countless man-hours are spent. Their Legends submission was created in this same fashion. A rich Nicaraguan backbone of long-fillers is complemented by Dominican Piloto, then carefully influenced by the subtle nuances of amaretto and hazelnut. A slightly sweet Ecuadorian wrapper glistens in the spotlight, completing the cigar. Creamy throughout, this beautiful handmade delivers ample flavor created to relax the palate as thick, billowing clouds exit the foot with each puff. Medium bodied, with enjoyable hints of pepper and hazelnut.

Pros: sweet tasting wrapper, great construction
Cons: not a great taste from the smoke

Size: 5.75 x 54

Appearance: Excellent construction, wrapper was smooth, slightly firm to the touch.

Prelight: Scent of the wrapper was sweet, almost like cherries. Cut well, draw was good, couldn't pick up much flavor (normally don't). The actual taste of the wrapper was slightly sweet. Not like maduro sweet, flavored sweet. It was nice.

Smoke: Good volume of smoke. Taste was consistent for pretty much the whole cigar, but I couldn't really identify any flavors. Also, in contrast to the smell of the cigar prelight, I couldn't taste anything sweet, just kind of a general, mild-medium tobacco.

Misc: A few minor burn touchups, they might have corrected themselves, but I was impatient. Also, it went out a little less than 2/3 into it, and I had to relight.

Overall: This cigar wasn't as bad as the other flavored cigars that I've tried, which seem to hide a bad taste with a sweet tasting wrapper. However, I wasn't really impressed with the smoke itself. I can't confess to having anything like a refined palette though. Like I said, this was the best smoking flavored cigar I've tried so far, so if you like them you might want to give it a shot. I would smoke one again, but I wouldn't buy one.
