Prelight: This is a plain looking cigar with a dull wrapper. It seems like a no-frills kind of cigar where the product will speak for itself. Taste is of strong pepper. The cigar seems underfilled in some parts. Prelight draw is so loose that it seems like I'm just drawing on air.
Initial thoughts: This cigar is very full bodied with a very strong peppery flavor. The smoke is nice and thick, but again, the draw is so loose that I assume there will be burn problems in this cigar.
After smoking about 1/4th of the cigar, the strong pepper mellowed a bit, but the cigar remained very flavorful and earthy. The burn was poor and the cigar tunneled frequently. I can't count how many times I had to touch-up and relight the cigar.
The remainder of the cigar offered just as much flavor and smoke. I've smoked many cigars that claimed to be strong, but this definitely has to be one of the strongest in flavor, body, and nicotine. Usually I do not notice the nicotine much, but I stood up and was a bit woozy after this cigar. This cigar was a big stronger than my usual tastes suggest, but I can see why many experienced smokers would like this. The major drawback was the construction (underfilled) which led to the poor draw and burn. Despite the problems, I would try this again and would recommend others to try this for a full bodied, strong smoke.
