Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: sweet & flowery
Scent at Foot: sweet with a hint of barnyard
Appearance: super smooth wrapper, no distinguishable veins, a work of art, it had the color of butterscotch
Wrapper: The cigar was almost flawless in its feel and look. There were a few imperfections in the wrapper; none that made much of a difference though.
Feel: firm with a touch of subtle springy-ness
Tongue: mild tingle with a touch of bitterness
Flavor on Draw: grassy hay-like
Smoke
Taste: light buttery taste and green tea
Flavor Changes: very consistent throughout; toward the last third it did pick up a roasted nut flavor but only for a little while. It did go back to green tea and butter flavor.
Strength: very, very mild; this cigar could be smoked anytime of the day but an early morning smoke would be best
Feeling: somber; this cigar was a special purchase, one that I specifically bought to smoke in order to commemorate the passing of a dear beloved friend. He has been gone for over a year. So in keeping in tradition I decided to honor his memory with a fine cigar that only paled in comparison to the finesse of his character.
Scent of Smoke: very sweet and cedary
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: none at all, the smoke and cigar stayed cool throughout
Draw: Fairly easy with a little resistance.
Finish: a light almond-like taste is left after expelling the smoke, it’s quite pleasurable.
Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: The flavor was mild but tasty. The aroma was very sweet and pleasurable. The burn was the best I have experienced in a cigar. One light and it burned evenly throughout. It did not go out until it was down to my fingertips. My first Davidoff was a pleasurable experience. I doubt that I will buy this one again. Not that it is not worthy of a smoke but that it was a special occasion cigar that I dare not to repeat again.
Final Rating: I rate this a 10-BEST CIGAR EVER

Pros:
|
Texture of the Wrapper, Shape
|
|
Cons:
|
Mine was a little dry when purchased and cracked in one area
|
|
Scent of Wrapper: Light & Sweet
Scent of Foot: Light & Sweet - The foot is quite narrow on this so it was tough to decipher more aromas other than the wrapper
Appearance: The shape is my favorite thing about this cigar. Not your standard perfecto, the two tapered ends join the body of the cigar and run straight accross, no bulge in the middle.
Wrapper: A lighter coloured wrapper with a nice smooth feel to it. Mine had a crack from poor storage
Feel: A nice feel to this cigar, somewhat spongy but the ring guage and weight let you know that you've got something good in your hand
Tongue: A little spicier than I had anticipated.
Flavour on Draw: Smooth, some spice
Taste: As all good cigars, this one evolves over the duration of the smoke. It starts out fairly mild. A little oak and hint of pepper seemed to come out right off the bat.
Flavour Changes: Definatley more flavour towards the middle and end. I like the spicy flavour that comes through it. Not too harsh but you feel like each puff is like taking a bite of the smoke.
Strenght: A fairly medium bodied cigar. Anything too heavy hits me pretty hard and I usually have to put it down before the end, but I comfortably smoked this one all the way down.
Feeling: I was sitting in my yard on a suny afternoon, and frankly couldn't think of a better place to be than smoking that cigar at that moment. As I said before the shape and size of this cigar I love, and the fact that it didn't knock me over with flavour made it perfect for an afternoon smoke
Scent of Smoke: The first time I smoked one of these my mother in law stopped by and commented on how delicious it smelled. The aroma is pleaseing, oaky, and mild.
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: With the length of this cigar, the smoke doesn't really heat up until the very end. As far as on the fingers, the thicker guage helps keep the cigar cool enough not to notice a significant change in temperature
Draw: Great draw, even with the tapered end to start, the smoke burns evenly and draws perfectly
Finish: Always a sad moment, but still great. The finish isn't a huge spectacular event, but consistent with the rest of the cigar, pleases the palate and keeps you wanting more
Other aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: I have now enjoyed two of these cigars. They are really expensive in Canada so it was lucky to have received them as a gift! My friend is truly a good one to have bought those for me. I would definately smoke it again.
Final Rating: 9 Nearly perfect for me. I will always hesitate to give a perfect score, but this is as close as I have come so far
