Description: Pre-smoke

Scent of Wrapper: slight hay scent

Wrapper: smooth, dark oily wrapper. Started to come undone from the start. One water spot on it, a couple small veins along the length.

Very nicely constructed, unfortunately as noted before had wrapper problems soon after lighting up.

Feel: Very firm, slight springiness to it.

Tongue: light tingle

Flavor on Draw: light tobacco flavor

Smoke: Not overly profuse but it was pleasant.

Taste:
(1) started out slightly nutty
(2) evolved into a more of a woodiness to it
(3) still slighty nutty, woody and picked up a hint of pepper

Strength: I would say a medium but just barely, then toward the last third firmly a medium

Feeling: An enjoyable cigar that though young was a good cigar. With some age and time to let it blossom and the flavors marry better this will be a top-notch cigar.

Scent of Smoke: can't put my finger on it but it was very pleasant.

Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: barely noticeable.

Draw: Due to high moisture content (due to the young age) it was a VERY hard draw, had to use a cigar awl to loosen it enough to be able to smoke it.

Finish: Quick finish , light pepper tone, very pleasant finish

I would refer this cigar to a friend, though I would definitely let this one age for at least 6 more months, though. I am not saying this to detract from the cigar, by all means try it.

I give it a 6.5

With age this would definitely score much higher.

Pros: Pleasant hints of Nutty and Pepper wanting to come out
Cons: Young cigar flavors need to marry with age to get a better smoke.

Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: Faint scent of Hay.

Wrapper: Medium light wrapper. water spot around wrapper, a couple small veins along the length.

Very nicely rolled with small veins along the length.

Feel: Spongy feel with a slight firmness.

Tongue: Very little feeling.

Flavor on Draw: A noticed a hint of tobacco

Smoke: Lot of smoke on draw, light to medium towards end.

Taste:
(1) Nutty, pepper flavor at beginning.
(2) Pepper flavor wanted to show stronger but would die out.
(3) Though out the cigar it showed pepper with nutty flavors but not developed.

Strength: Towards the beginning light and becoming stronger through the middle, over all at end it did become medium.

Feeling: I enjoyed smoking the cigar but was left with flavors wanting to come out. With time to develop I know it would receive a better rating. Once the flavors are given time to emerge it would be a quality cigar.

Scent of Smoke: Very light on the scent, hint of tobacco.

Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: Didn't notice any through out the smoke even at the end.

Draw: I enjoyed smoking this cigar it had a good draw with lots of thick smoke, smooth white even burn ash.

Finish: By the time I noticed I had completed my review, it smoke very clean and fast I would say even that it had a pleasant experience through out the smoke.

I would advise my friends to absolutely give this cigar a go around, especially after 8 to 12 months down the road, once flavors emerge it is going to be a hit.
