This review is for the Guerreros (Robusto) size.
Prelight.
The wrapper was sweet and spicy. On prelight draw I tasted hints of melon.
Smoke.
Taste.
The overall taste was peppery with that lovely Cuban i mean Pepin taste and had hints of coffee and even melon. The cigar maintained a consistent building taste and at the end the coffee taste was most prevalent. The taste in the nostrils was prevalent and did not burn even as strong as this cigar is.
Strength.
The cigar is medium to full bodied. The cigar was quite strong and I was feeling quite good after about an inch.
Feeling.
This cigar made me say "Wow" many times and made me happy.
Scent.
A sweet melon scent that reminded me of cantelope. Even a friend standing near by said that it head a melon smell.
Draw.
Excellent to Perfect Draw.
Finish.
The finish was extremely pleasant and I even nubbed the cigar. It picked up a strong coffee flavor at about 2 inches left. The coffee flavor was not even subtle as it reminded me of a strong black coffee. I smoked it till my fingers could take no more.
Overall Impression.
Quite possibly the best cigar I have ever smoked. I rank it up there with the Tatuaje Havana Cazadores, and with other cigars with different profiles such as the Padron 40th Anniversary. This cigar was exquisite as Pepin states. I smoke one and bought the box. That pretty much says it all.
Side Notes.
I think this cigar increased my chess game by 5 times.
Overall I give it a 9.7.

I love this cigar. It was rich and full of flavor with a pleasantly spicy kick on the finish and the construction is top notch. I walked 50 yards with a lit churchill in my mouth and held a 2.5in ash the whole time.

Guerreros (Robusto) size.
Prelight.
The wrapper was smooth, well rolled with barely distinguishable veins. No issues with the predraw.
Smoke.
Taste.
I agree with the pepper notes. There was a light coffee roast note that also came through. Strangely, the melon notes were also prevelant. The taste was reminiscent of honeydew or santa claus melon. The full flavor of the cigar was present troughout, but the pepper came and went at the most unexpected times. As full flavored and peppery this cigar is it was shocking to me too that it did not burn my tongue or deflay my palate.
Strength.
Full bodied; Peppery.
Feeling.
Delightful, unique smoke. Very pleasant after a cantaloupe pana cotta (a type of custard similar to tres leches, made with cantaloupe).
Scent.
Melon scent and sweet tobacco.
Draw.
Excellent.
Finish.
Very good. The cigar exploded with sweetness and pepper that contrasted perfectly.
Overall Impression.
Excellent cigar. Very unique flavor profile. Not too complex as to dull the senses, but just enough to excite the most demanding cigar enthusiast.
Overall I give it a 9.3.

ATMOSPHERE: Smoked on a beautiful sunny morning on my patio paired with iced coffee and a good book.
PRE-SMOKE:
Scent: This cigar had wonderful aromas of cedar and fruit from the wrapper and rich tobacco and dirt/earth from the foot.
Appearance: A rustic-looking, light caramel brown wrapper with medium-sized veins. The wrapper had an incredible soft and supple suede-like texture that reminded me a lot of the Opus X wrapper.
Feel: Felt a little soft when squeezed.
Pre-light draw: Ton of pepper on the tongue after my punch cut (from but the head and the wrapper). Woody and spicy on the pre-light draw.
SMOKE:
Taste & Flavor: AMAZING! This cigar starts with a wonderful rich coffee flavor similar to the Ashton VSG plus rich cedar and the typical Pepin Garcia pepper spice. The spice was intensified and I also picked up some herbal/Cameroon qualities when the smoke was expelled through the nose. After about 1/3 it began to develop a rich, aged-leather flavor (like a well used baseball glove). Throughout the smoke I also picked up some roast nuts and a meaty quality. Incredibly complex and delicious.
Strength: Full-flavored but medium strength. I did not get any feeling in my head or stomach…you can tell these tobaccos are well-aged.
Feeling: A little soft to chew so I had to be delicate about holding the cigar in my mouth. Amazing suede wrapper texture and spice flavor!
Scent of smoke: This cigar produced an incredibly large volume of greenish-white smoke with a rich cedar and herbal aroma.
Heat: None.
Draw & Burn: Perfect deliberate draw. Slightly ragged burn but was self-correcting.
Finish: Long peppery finish with a hot-sauce tingle on the lips at first. Later developed into a leathery and woody flavor. Incredibly rich and mouth-coating reminded me a lot of a Habanos.
OTHER:
Ash: Flaky salt and pepper ash that held well despite its appearance.
Duration: Nubbed in 1.5 hrs.
CONCLUSION: In my opinion this is Pepin Garcia’s greatest creation to date…and that is saying a lot! This cigar was a combination of many of my favorite qualities of other cigars: Opus X wrapper + VSG coffee flavor + Tatuaje spice. Amazing complex and wonderful flavors. It is well worth the price tag in my opinion and I only wish it was not a limited addition. Go get yourself one of these before they are gone!!!
