Description: By blending these cigars using filler tobaccos from three different regions, Perdomo has created a unique smoking experience where you can enjoy the complexity of the full-flavored tobaccos from Estili, the aromatic tobaccos from Condega, and the naturally sweet tobaccos from the Jalapa Valley. The beautiful Cuban seed Triple Fermented Maduro wrapper compliments this unique filler blend, adding rich, blod flavors with a smooth satisfying finish.

Pros: Construction, draw, burn!
Cons: Flavor, it was missing

Pre-Smoke

Scent of Wrapper: I picked up some nice maduro flavors and some slight spice.

Scent at Foot:There was a nice barnyard smell along with more maduro and even more spice here.

Appearance:This cigar has a beautiful maduro wrapper with very small veins. It was very smooth and almost had a slight sheen to it.

Feel:The cigar was very firm, it had a few very small soft spots on it but overall was a vice feeling cigar.

Tongue:The cut was very smooth and perfect. I picked up no tingle or loose tobacco when I pressed my tongue to it.

Flavor on Draw:I got that strong barnyard taste, which is nice. I also picked up some deep spices in this cigar.

Smoke

Taste:Well, I am not impressed by the flavors of this cigar after lighting it. It was very mellow/mild with little spice, and no flavors really stood out in it. I thought it may get better after an inch or two but never did. It did have very little maduro flavor, with subtle spices.

Strength: I would say this is a med/mild smoke. It never made me wonder if the spice would mellow or simmer down. I kept waiting for something to come out and show some strength and flavor.

Burn/Ash:I will give this cigar a very high rating on the ash and burn factors. It had a razor sharp burn and a very tight ash with no flakeyness. The ash was a dark grey.

Scent of Smoke:It smelled like a cigar/maduro.

Heat on Fingers and Mouth:I never got any heat from this cigar. It kept the heat down with the size and tight roll.

Draw:The draw was very nice, it produced tons of smoke everytime I drew on it. I even let it sit for about 5 minutes and it was still burning pretty well.

Finish:The finish was not bad, it was one of the positives. It had a long spicy finish for about the first third. After the first third it dropped dead.

Other Aspects of this Cigar:I did not finish the cigar. I smoked it till about 2 inches left. I was not impressed at all with this smoke. I will re-visit it or try the corojo and give it another chance. "One robin does not mean it is Spring" The wrappers were also a very nice aspect of this cigar, the main label is just amazing. It also had a foot label on it.

I will give this cigar a 5.5 on the ICRS system. It is acceptable and I give it an extra .5 for construction.

Pros: Great medium bodied smoke
Cons: Not overly complex

Pre-Smoke

Scent of Wrapper: barnyard

Scent at Foot: coco

Appearance: Cigar has a very nice dark brown wrapper

Feel:The cigar was firm and felt nearly perfect

Tongue: Very sweet

Flavor on Draw: not much to speak of

Smoke

Taste: Hints of grape seed - bready - light hints of cedar - slight bit of tang but also very sweet. Very little spice

Strength: Flat out medium bodied

Burn/Ash: Nearly perfect burn with a nice tight ash.

Scent of Smoke:
Wonderful tangy tobacco smell that changed mid-cigar into the smell of unburnt shag tobacco.

Heat on Fingers and Mouth: I never got any heat from this cigar.

Draw:
The draw was perfect. It really couldn't have been any better.

Finish:The finish was short with a lingering ash taste.

Other Aspects of this Cigar: This cigar had a maduro flavor that I haven't experienced in a cigar in years. The cigar was in no way similar to it's very strong and harsher Corojo counterpart. I found this cigar to be very smooth and enjoyable.
