Here is my review of the Bock Y Ca.
I picked up a bundle of these cigars from JRCigars.com. They came in a bundle of 25 for 27.95. This is a brand that has returned to JR after being gone for a few years. I remember smoking one of these about 4 years ago and was excited to see them back. As much as I can remember about them before, I believe that I enjoyed them.
ICRS
PRE-SMOKE
Scent of Wrapper: straw/hay
Scent at foot: straw/hay
Wrapper: the head had a few rough spots on it
Feel: cigar was a bit spongy, a good thing to me
Tongue: nothing picked up
Flavor on draw: none
SMOKE
Taste: just a hint of spice, but not much
Strength: very mild
Feeling: I could have smoked something better
Scent of smoke: none
Heat on fingers and in mouth: nothing significant
Draw: good
Finish: no tastes stay with you
Other: just an average cigar, nothing special. Be good for a yard cigar or one while driving and not caring too much about the flavor
Time smoked: 40 minutes
Final Rating: 5
This turned out to just an average cigar. The burn was decent but a bit uneven. This cigar will not be a memorable one, but for the price of about $1 a stick, it is not bad. Good to had out to those who are cigar smokers or if you just want something to burn while doing errands or yard work.
