Description:
|
Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: light tobacco and hay
Scent at Foot: more intense tobacco smell
Appearance
Wrapper: two small veins along the length, a water spot and a small hole in the wrapper
Feel: firm the whole length
Tongue: slight acidity
Flavor on Draw: fresh tobacco, hit of sweetness
Smoke
Taste: cedar with hint of floral and nuts
Flavor Changes
Strength: started out more mild to medium, 2nd third it filled out more medium, last 3rd stayed at medium, did not get tarry but neither were there any real flavor changes.
Feeling: relaxing
Scent of Smoke: Very pleasant, floral and sweet
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: n/a
Draw: slight resistance but a nice draw
Finish: very pleasant finish, very short
Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: Not a very complex smoke at this size, I find the corona a more tasty size for this cigar. Left a slight film on the tongue but not detracting or unpleasant.
I probably would be more apt to recommend this cigar in the corona size but this wasn't bad if gotten at a good price.
Final Rating: 6.7 - while very enjoyable and tasty it could have been better.
