I'll preface this review with the fact that this again, is another fake ISOM cigar. It is illegal to smoke the real thing. This particular smoke was severely damaged in transit. It was compressed from cap to foot smashing almost an inch on either side and causing a crack in the middle that was, thankfully, not overly damaging to the smoke. I cut the foot and cap completely off and gave this damaged smoke the burial it deserved.
May god please have mercy on me and one day deliver an undamaged smoke to me.

This cigar, although damaged, ended up being a great smoke. I read the reviews afterwards and some call it the greatest cigar ever made. I don’t know about that, considering I haven’t smoked that many cigars, but it was a damn good cigar. I cut the cigar’s damaged ends and prayed.
The nose of the cigar prelight wasn’t very pronounced. I’m not sure if this is because its 8 years old, but it was subtle. Very earthy and sweet with a touch of sour odors were present. The color of the wrapper is fine milk chocolate color with a hint of maroon in it. The veins were extremely subtle and the bunch appeared to be very tight and perfectly built.
The prelight draw was sublime, to say the least. I know that the entire cap was removed, along with over a half inch, but the draw was perfect. It was free as I felt a great cigar should be. I toasted the cut foot and lit the smoke. The first senses were sweet earth, similar to morning dew and a faint hint of new leather and spice. The spice is so subtle that its just a faint tingle on the very tip of the tongue. Within a few puffs the smoke had switched to a fresh flavor that I’ve come to notice as a tell of cigars from there.
Within the first inch, however, this fresh flavor has melted with the cigar and is not as noticeable on its own anymore. The smoke is full bodied with a lot of power behind it. The aroma of the smoke is woody and very pleasant to waft second hand smoke in.
Well into the first third of the smoke coffee and new leather are the prominent flavors, with the leather still remaining subtle. The spice is still there, but again, its barely perceptible and quite pleasant. As the half approaches the smoke becomes very hearty. There’s senses of steak and butternut squash. There is definitely a feeling of eating with this smoke. I bet it would pair wonderfully with a big thick rare steak and sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar. The finish reminds me of the sear on a good steak. Smoky and hearty flavors are extremely complex.
Moving well into the second third of the smoke the flavor of pine nuts and charred caramel are noticeable. The sweetness is very muted but present and wonderful to behold. The sweetness begins to take more of a hold on the flavors of the cigar is we move well into the second third and into the last third. The hint of spice has never gone away, but its gentle still.
The last third has flavors of cream, sugar, and coffee with a touch of caramel still. This cigar would go perfect with the main course and moving into a cup of coffee afterwards. The smoke has become even more hearty than the first half, which is almost unbelievable.
The smoke finishes in much the same manor that it began. Very complex and full bodied flavor is bountiful. The smoke is never dull and the flavors are always changing.
This is a great smoke. I only wish I had one that wasn’t damaged to give a proper review.
