Description: Tabacalera Perdomo S.A., one of the world`s most distinguished cigar manufacturers, announced today that they are releasing its newest line, Perdomo Lot.23. The company stated that the new brand is from one of their prestigious farms, Lot. 23, which is located near its factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The blend is a combination of exquisite filler and binder tobaccos from Lot.23 and a beautiful rich, brown Connecticut wrapper. After harvesting the tobacco and aging it in bale for four years the cigars were rolled and slow aged in one of Perdomo`s large aging rooms for another six months before being sent to their office in Miami for distribution. Perdomo Lot. 23 is a medium to full flavored blend that has a broad array of flavors, but yet is well-balanced and retains a rich, smooth character. The beautiful wrapper lends not only stunning aesthetic appeal, but also a balance to the extremely flavorful Nicaraguan fillers and binder from Lot. 23. Consumers may choose from four traditional sizes packaged in stunning 20 count cedar boxes: Robusto (5x 50); Toro (6x 50); Churchill (7x 50), and Belicoso (5 3/4x 54).

Pros: Price, taste, good burn, excellent draw, well constructed
Cons: Not for those who demand a bold cigar

SIZE: Belicoso

PRE SMOKE:
Wrapper- sweet smell, firm, no soft spots
Taste- peppery
Draw- free and sweet

SMOKE:
Taste- Medium body, creamy, earthy
Strength- Medium with slight spice, got stronger half way thru
Smoke- Light scent, lots of white to light gray smoke
Heat- none
Draw- Excellent
Finish- mild/short
Burn- nice even burn

Other comments: Seems that this cigar gets mixed reviews, but that may be partly due to some pre-conceptions about Perdomo. I just started smoking Perdomo products, so I'm not familiar with some problems others have reported about Perdomo in the past. This cigar was medium but creamy with just a little spice. I really enjoyed the smooth draw with lots of pleasant smoke. I really enjoyed the cigar, and the price is nice. There may be better cigars for an after dinner smoke, but this one is very relaxing without being boring. I'd recommend it.
