Description: Introducing, a celebratory cigar honoring 15 successful years of Felipe Gregorio. Dubbed Power for its ample strength and full-tilt character, this fine handmade utilizes leaves that have been aging since the start of Felipe Gregorio, waiting for a prime occasion such as this. Wrapped in an elusive, Cuban-seed wrapper from Costa Rica, Power is Felipe’s finest creation to date.

Nicaraguan and Piloto Cubano is the blend chosen to fill this gem. Cultivated 12+ years ago, these choice leaves have been triple fermented to slowly bring out their true flavors, removing any hints of harshness, resulting in a rich, intoxicating flavor. On the outside, Felipe’s prized Pelo de Oro wrapper. A rare Cuban-seed leaf known as ‘Golden Hair’, this wrapper is dark, oily, toothy and jam-packed with flavor. Together, these tobaccos mingle to present a deeply rich smoke with robust earthy notes and toasty hints of sweet cedar. Incredibly complex, Power is a satisfying, medium to full-bodied cigar for the sophisticated palate. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny.

Note: check out the Leopard...quite possibly one of the most unique cigars you’ll ever find. Crafted into an impressive perfecto shape, the Leopard utilizes at least two varying wrapper leaves, with holes cut in the outer leaf to create ’leopard spots’, revealing the wrappers below.

Pros: lots of depth and sweet with good strength
Cons: quite sweet for unflavored, not a lot of smoke

Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: sweet hay and tea

Scent at Foot: sweet hay with an slight woody smell
Appearance:excellent light gold
Wrapper: small-medium veins but very smooth and slick to the touch
Feel: nice and resilient with no problem areas very nice construction
Tongue: green pepper hay and tea
Flavor on Draw: sweet dried grass, floral

Smoke
Taste: (1) It starts of mild with a touch of sweetness without a lot of smoke, which never really got any thicker for being such a large ring gauge
There are still lots of hay and tea flavors to the cigar with undertones of cedar
(2) The sweetness explodes in this part of the cigar. It was incredible especially when paired with a sweet drink. There were tea and rose notes in the sweetness, but in a mostly pleasent way, although it tired out my tongue since it was a large cigar.
(3) This is where the body of the cigar changed to more traditional flavors. The sweetness died down, but never left altogether, and was replaced by more traditional tobacco flavors and mature cedar and oak.
Strength: The strength went through all the levels as it burned. It started off mild then grew intensity through the length of the smoke in a very pleasent way. It was almost like smoking two or three different cigars in a row, but there was still the unifying taste. It definately left me a little heady by the end
Feeling: very calming cmoke that went well with a sweet drink
Scent of Smoke: only slightly floral with hay and cedar
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: none
Draw: It did have a difficult draw and not a lot of smoke. For a name like power i expected voluminous cloudy smoke. It could have just been slightly plugged though
Finish: the sweet tobacco taste lingers in a nice way like a piece of candy almost

If you like sweet or something out of the ordinary it is a must try
