Pros:
Cons:

Brand: Fonseca
MSRP: $3.50
Size: Delicia
Box date : 2002

Drink Choice: Noval Port

Time of smoke: Early evening

Cut Choice: Xikar

Pre-Light thoughts: Not the nicest looking stick, a bit rough. Nice Grassy flavor. Amazing smell.

The Light: Light well, a fair amount of smoke. Very mellow flavor.

The Draw: Super tight. Used tobacco knife and rolled for a bit. That really opened it up.

First third: Good flavors, draw still a bit tight. Starting to tunnel. I think this needed a bit more time to set.

Second third: Flavors are starting to change, blending nicely. I am very impressed with the quality and flavor for such a low price stick.

Final third: Burn problems began in the last inch and a half. But flavor stayed great. Heat didn’t start until about ¾ of an inch. Nubbed it!

Final note: For the price, this is a great stick. It had a few burn problems but I think that is due to smoking it to soon after arrival!! (I just couldn’t wait) The wrapper was so oily. For $3 / stick I will be smoking more of these. Also, very complex flavor profile. I believe this is only a hand finished which is why I am surprised.

Overall 8/10

Pros: Awesome for the price w/ some complexity as Joel mentioned.
Cons: I really have never smoked a bad one.

This is a cigar I love to smoke with a morning cup of coffee.
