Pros:
|
Good burn, some nice mild flavors
|
|
Cons:
|
Draw was very tight.
|
|
Pre-Smoke
Sent of Wrapper: Leather and Tobacco
Sent at Foot: A Hay + Spice
Wrapper: nice Reddish Brown wrapper with some small spot
Feel: hard from head to toe
Tongue: Slight tingle sort of like touching a battery
Flavor on Draw: hay – ginger bread taste
Smoke
Taste: The taste of this cigar was very mild, there was a slight pepper flavor when I rolled this cigar through my nose. I thought at times there was a mild Cameroon flavor that appeared on the scene, but again, it was VERY Mild. I think that part of the issue of picking up flavors was that the draw on this cigar was very tight, and it was hard to get a good profile on this smoke.
Strength: This was a very mild smoke.
Sent of smoke: I was outside, and there was a breeze making this hard.
Heat on Fingers and in mouth: none noted.
Draw: Tight draw.
Finish: Sort of sweet finish
Other aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: This was a cigar that was too mild for my likes, but I could see someone who is a fan of mild smokes enjoying this cigar. The draw was way too tight, and maybe this had something to do with it. The Ash sort of flowered but I had a nice even burn all in all I would give this cigar a 6, good, just not to my flavor profile.

Pros:
|
Wrapper nicely done, and tight but loose draw!
|
|
Cons:
|
Few veins and not many flavors
|
|
Pre-Smoke
Sent of Wrapper: Cedar
Sent at Foot: Field Grass--Woodsy
Wrapper: Nice wrapper, looked to be a habano wrapper but noted a few veins that did not affect my impressions of the cigar.
Feel: Tightly rolled, nicely rolled--comfortable.
Tongue: No tingle for me--Earthly taste
Flavor on Draw:Again field Grass
Smoke
Taste:It to me was a slight taste of oak with a mild flavor and continued through out entire smoke. Did not notice any changes in this cigar. Stayed constant.
Strength:This was a very mild smoke.
Sent of smoke:I really did not noticed a heavy smell and was pleasant in the house. No complaints from the wife .
Heat on Fingers and in mouth:Notta--None
Draw: Draw was great --did not get tight at all--this was impressive due to the tightness of the roll. tells me it is a quality smoke.
Finish: The finish was the same as the start--maybe a slight difference--maybe to start a very mild to mild at the finish.
Other aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: I liked the Burn , Draw and look of the wrapper for this cigar. It just did not have the flavors I was anticipating form the looks of the cigar. I do have one more and will smoke outdoors to maybe see if I see any changes. For now it was a good mild cigar and with little taste.

Pros:
|
Great construction, firm, great ash, lots o' smoke
|
|
Cons:
|
Initial scent of wrapper and foot
|
|
Pre-Smoke
Scent of Wrapper: Grassy/hay smell. Not too appetizing
Scent at Foot: Grass, hay, and cloves
Wrapper: Great natural color, tightly rolled, no big veins
Feel: Firm, but not hard
Tongue: Birch flavors
Flavor on Draw: Grassy flavors. Again, I was hesitant, but decided to move on
Smoke
Taste: Started off a bit rough with the grassy flavors breaking through, along with tea and a little pepper.
Flavor Changes: Although the cigar did build throughout the smoke, it went from incredibly mild to mild/pre-medium by the last third of the smoke.
Strength: Mild, but nice. The build-up was great and kept me anticipating what was gonna happen.
Feeling: I ended up, after much ambivilance, enjoying this cigar.
Scent of Smoke: Black pepper and some cedar with a great smoke aroma.
Heat: None noticed
Draw: A little tight, but otherwise it was perfect.
Finish: The after-tastes in my mouth was highly appealling. There was a hint of pepper and none of the grass/hay that I was expecting.
Other aspects: Not too much to say, other than I was surprised with this cigar. The initial impressions were not good because of the grass and hay scents, but I didn't get much if any of those during the smoke. I would recommend this smoke to people who enjoy mild stogies.

Pros:
|
lots of smoke and interesting
|
|
Cons:
|
harsh flavors at the begining and a lingering taste
|
|
Scent of wrapper: The scent was a subtle sweet hay smell
Scent at foot: Bitter cocoa with some sweetness
Wrapper: Very nice toothy wrapper with a clean look torpedo
Feel: There were a couple of soft spots and generally pliant
Tongue: Just some very light bitter sweetness and spice
Flavor on draw: Sweet and a little chocolaty
The smoke: The cigar started off very bitter. The flavors were almost overpowering and were mainly a bitter coffee with heavy smokey flavors. The cigar started to mellow in the second third which was very welcome. The bitterness died down and I could finally start to discern some of the flavors. Some sweetness like burnt sugar was added as well as some woody notes with a very rich smoke. The last third saw the coffee and chocolate flavors increase with a slightly sweet aftertaste left in the mouth. The woody notes continued and it finished much better than it started.
The feeling: This was a medium bodied smoke with some really strong harsh flavors.
Scent of smoke: The smoke was nice with some earthy almost mushroom smell along with a sweet peppery bit
Draw: The draw was fine and produced large clouds of smoke
Finish: The finish was lingering with a subtle sweetness
Ash and burn: There was one tunnel that formed at the beginning that needed some touch up after which the burn line evened up and remained pretty good. The ash was very nice and held for almost two inches at the start and regularly lasted for a long time.
Overall: This cigar was really strong at the beginning that almost had me worried as it was so full to the point of being one flavored. When it mellowed out it got much better, and I think some age would help the transition.

Pros:

Good construction
|
|
Cons:
|
Flavors didnt wow me.
|
|
Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: Grassy
Scent at Foot: Earthy with a stronger pepper scent
Wrapper: Medium brown color. Smaller veins with one larger.
Feel: Fairly firm. Could feel a lot of larger veins/stems under the wrapper. Seems well constructed otherwise.
Tongue: Nothing noted
Flavor on Draw: Earthy
Smoke
Taste: Fairly cedary profile. Had some creamy notes present. I didnt get any pepper on this cigar. Did start out a bit rough tasting but settled in well. The final inch got a bit bitter.
Strength: I found this cigar to be somewhat mild. More like a mild/medium
Scent of Smoke: Too windy to tell
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: Stayed cool to the touch throughout.
Draw: very good.
Finish: very short, and light finish
Ash: Fairly white in color. Very firm and held on very well.
Burn: Burned very well.
Other notes: I would say for the most part, i enjoyed this cigar. It wasnt a flavor profile i would say i would seek out. More on the mild side. I would recommend it to others. If i had to guess id say this was a cammie. For some reason i just dont do well with cammies and this one reminded me of a cameroon.

Looks like were almost out of beer.

Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: nothing prominent
Scent at Foot: nothing that I could detect
Wrapper: Medium brown color, clean wrap on the head
Feel: Firm but a bit spongy, which is good. Construction seemed to be good overall
Tongue: Nothing noted
Flavor on Draw: general tobacco
Smoke
Taste: started out spicy in the first third, the second third brought some sweetness, and it finished with a nice spice.
Strength: Seemed like a medium body cigar to me
Scent of Smoke: Did not check
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: heat was tolerable over the 90 minutes that I smoked it
Draw: great draw, seemed to be rolled perfectly
Finish: ended with a nice spice
Ash: Nice white color, ash seemed firm, I ashed it about every inch or two.
Burn: Burned very well.
Other notes: I liked the cigar. I thought the construction was great, the ash was a great color and enjoyed the flavor profile.

Good construction, smooth flavors
|
|
Cons:

A little tight
|
|
Pre-Smoke
Scent of Wrapper: Hay
Scent at Foot: Also Hay
Wrapper: Medium darkness, some splotches and bumps
Feel: Medium, but a large soft spot near head
Flavor on Draw: earthy/tobacoo
Smoke
Taste: Earthy, hints of nuts and wood
Strength: Mild, but flavorful. Tastes like it once had spice that mellowed after time
Scent of Smoke: Very nice aroma- old fashioned tobacco smell.
Heat: None noticed
Draw: A little tight. Started to get plugged, but I used my cigar tool and it was good to go.
Ash: Nice firmness with greay ash
Burn: Good all the way through
Overall: This cigar was mild, but it was mellow and I enjoyed the overall smoke. Good flavors and good burn. I prefer a more full bodied smoke, but I wouldn't hesitate to smoke another or recommend this cigar.

Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: Stinky, sweet barnyard! I loved it. It reminded me of a Padron (regular line).
Scent at Foot: Same as wrapper except with a stronger tobacco smell.
Appearance: Strikingly beautiful.
Wrapper: Great looking, medium dark wrapper
Feel: Sturdy, firm feel. Tightly packed. Very nice in the hand. Couldn't wait to light it up.
Tongue: nothing notable other than perhaps a nice earth feel and taste.
Flavor on Draw: Barnyard and licorice.
Smoke
Taste: This cigar had fantastic flavors and found it be be extremely well-balanced. It was a little spicy, a little savory and a little sweet, kind of like a curry. The barnyard and licorice came to the foreground from time to time, but so did flavors of wood and coconut. Yes, coconut. The coconut curry taste became more prominent during the second third of the cigar. A little bitterness developed toward the end of the cigar, but overall a fantastic tasting cigar.
Strength: Medium strength. Mellow and balanced.
Feeling: Fantastic.
Scent of Smoke: Nothing notable. Smell was consistent with
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: Grew a bit warm, but I was smoke these a little aggressively.
Draw: A bit on the tight side for me, but I probably could have shaved off a little more with my cutter to give it a looser draw. But I was fine with it.
Finish: Mellow finish. Spicy at the back of the throat.
Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: I really enjoyed this smoke. I want more!!!
