Pros: amazing rich smoke with excellent depth
Cons: wrapper and burn problems

PRE-SMOKE

Scent of Wrapper: deep rich tobacco with notes of chocolate and raisin

Appearance: dark brown wrapper appearance with two really nice bands that are gold trimmed and definitely catches the eye

Wrapper: This was the only real place I had issues. This poor little guy got beat up on during transit i assume because it was really messed up. But then some wrapper did stick to the labels as careful as i was to take them off which marred the otherwise great looking smoke.

Feel: The cigar was firmly packed with a really nice smooth oil feel to the wrapper done in an interesting box press

Tongue: There was some spice and a natural sweetness

Pre-light Flavor on Draw: I could feel some of the sweetness still and some bitter cocoa

SMOKE

This was a great smoke from beginning to end. In the first third there was some great spice that tasted much different than usual in that it was more of an olfactory spice rather than a back of the throat harshness. There were some really good cocoa and bitter coffee flavors, along with some raisin and vanilla sweetness. The smoke was full and coated the mouth in a good way, very creamy. The second third lost most of the spice but kept the strength and sweetness. Some cedar was added to the mix, making it a complex rich smoke. The last third finished cleanly and was quite enjoyable.

Scent of the Smoke: This was a really sweet coffee scent mixed with the rich tobacco

Heat on fingers and mouth: None

Draw: clean and easy

Ash: There were some problems here with flowering and flaking due to the messy wrapper

Finish: Creamy and sweet that was very pleasant

Other: None

Overall: This was a great rich flavorful smoke that was medium-full but i think most people would enjoy it.

Pros: Like the CocoA and dark wrapper
Cons: Slight touch up on the burn.

Pre-Smoke

Sent of Wrapper:Very nice sent of Cocoa

Sent at Foot: Earthy

Wrapper: Very nice wrapper and no problems with unraveling, No bad spots very clean

Feel:Nice tight feel –No soft spots anywhere.

Tongue: Slight tingle and after taste Sweet like chocolate

Flavor on Draw: The draw was O K not tight and hints again of Cocoa.

Smoke

Taste: Spicy and taste like cocoa

Strength: Full Bodied

Sent of smoke: The scent was again like burn chocolate.

Heat on Fingers and in mouth: None what so ever until the nub!

Draw:Very nice smooth draw

Finish: The finish was very good-smoked to the nub and enjoyed the time limit of this smoke. It had a many spices but the most memorable would again be Cocoa.

Other aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: I really liked and enjoyed this cigar from the very start till I dreaded having to lay it down. The first third there was a little confusing but started to pick up a taste of pleasant spices and dark coffee. There was plenty of smoke and ringed a few puffs. My nose really enjoyed the immense flavors of the cocoa all threw the cigar. As the cigar got smaller the smoke really picked up its intensity. It was differently a full flavored cigar that I would enjoy every once in a while. I really enjoyed this smoke and the length of time in which to smoke—Very Nice!

Pros: Beauty of a cigar. Flawless wrapper
Cons: not really any!

Pre-Smoke

Sent of Wrapper: Tobacco smells with some dark chocolate

Sent at Foot: A very nice spicy earth smell

Wrapper: Beautiful medium brown wrapper. Very smooth and perfect.

Feel: Firm

Tongue: Nothing noted.

Flavor on Draw: Hints of leather and Dark bitter chocolate (a good flavor)
Smoke

Taste: This was a really good smoke. I was sort of surprised because I was expecting some spice, and sort of a powerful corojo cigar, but what I had was a really nice and smooth subtle dark chocolate flavor with some leather and a hint of spice. I thought that these flavors were very complex and really nice.

Strength: The strength was medium all the way around, flavor and body. Very nice cigar.

Sent of smoke: I was in a room with 6 other smokers so it was hard to pick up.

Heat on Fingers and in mouth: none noted.

Draw: great Draw.

Finish: Nice earthy leathery finish.

Other aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: The construction on this cigar was great. Perfect burn and draw was wonderful! While I was surprised with the flavor profile I was very happy with this cigar and would recommend this to any smoker. Really nice smooth relaxing cigar. That’s why I am giving this cigar a rating of 9!
