Pros: Best bang for the buck
Cons: None really, never had one I didnt enjoy

Joel's review is right on. You really cant go wrong with this one.

Medium strength, good flavor. Great intro to ISOM's.

Pros: Cheap, cuban flavor
Cons: ugly, poorly made

Brand: Jose L. Piedra

MSRP: $2.10

Size: Breva

Box date : NOV 05

Drink Choice: Green Tea

Time of smoke: Early evening

Cut Choice: Xikar

Pre-Light thoughts: Not the nicest looking stick, a bit rough. Nice Grassy flavor. Amazing smell.

The Light: Light well, a fair amount of smoke. Started out with a nice bite.

The Draw: A bit tight but loosened as I went.

First third: Very good, not overly complex but very good flavor. Nice black ash and good burn.

Second third: Starting to warm up a bit, still somewhat one-dimensional. Still ashing very well. Good flavor and strength.

Final third: Starting to get very spicy. A bit of complexity, along with heat. Slightly un-even burn. A bit harsh.

Final note: For $2 a stick, I feel you get a lot for the money. Great burn, nice ash, pretty good draw. I got a lot of flavors, they just didn’t quite seem to sync up. I think this is due to young age. I can only imagine what these would be like with 3-5 years of age. I am hoping to find some with older box codes. For anyone new to ISOM’s this is a great, cheap introduction, IMHO. Defiantly a great stick for the money.

Overall : 7.0/10

Pros: Good Aroma , Spicy,Taste & Burn
Cons: Not well made

I think for the money these are some very good smokes for the buck. I also agree with what Joel has surmised in his evaluation. I picked up a box of 25 ea. for like $35.00 plus shipping from Aro Cigars. I noticed they are now $63.00 for 25. Wow!!! A big increase in the pass year.

Pros:
Cons:

Do not get the bundles!

The last two bundles I ordered were a mess, the sticks are pretty much covered with gum, probably because they are machine made.
The sticks were glued together and when I opened them the wrappers broke on almost every single one.
Maybe just bad luck, but my advice:
Get the boxes.
