Pros: Great Tasting Cigar!
Cons: Rare Item, Hard To Find

Pre-smoke
Scent of Wrapper: Cocoa, very strong Cocoa scent
Scent at Foot: Cocoa

Wrapper: Dark Maduro, Oily
(Note any markings, color, or inconsistencies)
Feel: Well maintained, not to soft, not to firm.
Tongue: Very faint cocoa taste, no where close to the scent.

Flavor on Draw: The Cocoa is stronger on the draw, but the draw appears to be a little tough which is to be expected on a perfecto.

Smoke
Taste: (1) This cigar was a sensory overload, but in a good way. For the most part it was a sweet cigar, until the end when it became a bit bitter.

Flavor Changes: At first light I was hit with a taste of leather, which disappointed me, but it quickly went away and was replaced with apple, and hint of cocoa. During the 2nd 1/3rd of the cigar, the cocoa flavor became more prevelent, and once again I got a quick hit of leather. Also with the cocoa I had some apple and cinnamon which worked well with the cocoa. The final 1/3rd a little bit of cherry was introduced before the cigar began to turn slightly bitter for me. Despite the bitterness there were hints of toast and steak. The latter, I thought I was crazy as I never experienced that taste before, but upon reviewing the ICRS I see it is a common taste.

Strength: The cigar was medium to full bodied, and the strength wasn't overwhelming as the flavors were subtle enough to enjoy while not over-powering.
Feeling: The cigar remained firm all the way til the final 1/3rd when it became soft and spongy.
Scent of Smoke: The cigar has a sweet smell of cocoa, that a passerby even commented on.
Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: The cigar remained cool, until the final 1/3rd when it became warm to the fingers, but not the mouth.
Draw: At one point, I had 1/2 a cigar worth of ash on the end. The cigar at this point became a little tight, but when the ash dropped off naturally, the draw was nice.
Finish: The finish remained sweet almost til the end.

Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: (1) Was amazed by the oils produced on the wrapper for the duration of the smoke, truly a well constructed cigar.

Final Rating: 9.1 (had it not become bitter, it would scored a 9.4 or 9.5)
