This is a great book. It follows how the cigar industry moved in to the Tampa starting in the mid 1800’s. It is full of great interviews and amazing photography.
While reading this book, it is amazing the little things you pick up. For example, in the late 1800’s there was a local paper called La Aurora. I can only assume that this is where the cigar brand came from.
It follows Tampa’s cigar history up through the mid 1900’s. It is a neat experience to see how much impact Tampa’s cigar history has affected the cigar market today!!
This is a sort of hard to find book. If you have an interest in the history of our great passion, I suggest hinting this book out.
