Description: La Aurora in its rarest form.

As you may know, the La Aurora factory is the oldest and longest running cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. Also, this factory manages several tobacco fields in which some of the most flavorful and highest-quality leaves in the world are grown. Using these privately owned tobacco fields to his advantage, Guillermo Leon of La Aurora creates the Preferidos, the most prestigious La Aurora – one which epitomizes the rich history and time-honored traditions of the Dominican’s pride and joy, the La Aurora factory.

Introducing the Preferidos Limited Edition 2006 Cameroon.

A choice, hand-selected Cameroon leaf was used to complete an exquisite blend of the factory’s finest Dominican long-fillers. Dark, toothy, oily and oh so smooth, this gorgeous wrapper offers a wealth of luxurious, rich flavors to rival the mellow, creamy nuances influenced by the well-aged Dominican tobaccos. A luxurious, medium-bodied smoke with production limited to just 25,000 cigars, due to the scarcity of these fine leaves, leaving a mere 1,000 boxes for the retail market. One size only: a densely packed, 5” x 50 Robusto
Keywords: La Aurora Preferidos Cammeroon Robusto

Pros: very good profile
Cons: pricy

Wrapper is dark brown with tiny veins. Foot smells of sweet spices. Construction looks great

The pull is perfect and the burn is crisp. This one started out peppery with hints of Anise. As the cigar got to the midpoint it became creamier and mellower and stayed that way till the end

Overall I think this one has a fuller body and a bit more strength than other La Aurora cigars
