Description: Nicaraguan by Perdomo. The Slow-Aged by 826 utilizes an extensively aged blend of four different Nicaraguan filler leaves. These include an extremely rare and expensive type of ligero leaf that adds noticeable strength to the blend. Coffee-like notes. Medium-bodied, extremely smooth.
Keywords: Perdomo value ligero Nicaragua

Pros: Great Value, lots of smoke, ligero
Cons:

The Slow-Aged 826 is made by Perdomo and is a very pleasant bundled cigar at a very reasonable price. I managed to get my hands on 96 of these at just over a buck a stick, so I will be enjoying these for several years to come. They are already a very cool, smooth smoke, but as the age builds up on these, they should become even smoother, and hopefully some interesting complexity will develop.

My stash came in a mixture of 3 sizes and 2 wrappers.

Robusto Natural and Maduro (5" x 52)
Glorioso Natural and Maduro (6" x 52)
Churchill Natural and Maduro (7" x 52)

The Natural is wrapped in a silky smooth Connecticut and the maduro is a coffee colored Connecticut Broadleaf maduro. The natural and the maduro then share the same Nicaraguan fillers and binders, including ligero. The ligero makes these cigars really come to life.

This cigar is a pleasure to smoke. I waffle back and forth on whether I prefer the maduro or the natural. Tonight I am smoking the natural, and it is smoking very, very smooth. These have been resting for about a month at 67% humidity. This "Glorioso" is producing clouds of nearly white smoke. The construction on the natural is nice with a very smooth nearly vein free connecticut leaf. The maduro broadleaf is a little more coarse, but still not overly veined or jagged. Both are firm and draw very easy.
