Description:
|
Size: Toro, 6x50
Wrapper: Costa Rican Maduro
Construction: Very nice, dark, oily wrapper with a matte sheen.
This cigar has a nice aroma, dak tobacco, with almost a rum-like nose. Torched this stick exactly one, and it burned true the entire time. Started off with some dry, sweet notes, settling into a medium tobacco flavor, with hints of dark earth until the last third when a peppery bite also came into play.
I am a fan of the Gurka line, and this was a solid offering. I will confess to having a higher expectation for this line though.
I have some churchill size Khans resting. I will visit those and see if the larger size vitola gives me the pizazz I was seeking.
