Pros: Bountiful smoke
Cons: Harshness throughout

After all of the fanfare here is my review!

Beverage: Club Soda/Sparkling water

Pre-light:
Firm wrapper. Nice springiness up and down the length of the cigar.

The cap to me appeared sloppy. It looked like someone messed up and slapped an extra bit of leaf over the cap to cover it. It appeared that there was already a cap on the cigar and it was "touched up" with an extra sloppy slab of leaf.

I cut the cap w/ a Palio without any issues, however. The remaining cap stayed in place.

Nice and easy draw. I enjoyed the flavor I got from the pre-light draw. Reminded me of a favorable flavor that I can't quite put a finger on. But I liked it.

Checking out at the foot it appeared that there was a dark circle of tobacco at the core of the cigar surrounded by lighter colored tobacco. It looked neat!

I had no issues lighting it.

First third:
Immediate acrid/harsh taste that never went away.

Copious amounts of smoke

Nice aroma from the smoke but not nice on the pallette

Good burn

Firm gray ash

The harsh/acrid taste was not leaving a favorable impression.

Second Third:
Continued harshness but it wasn't quite as bad as from the start.

Still burning well

Harshness has died down but not gone

Minor burn correction at the end of this section

Third third?:

still burning well

harshness still present

All of a sudden... I notice a nice smooth creamy sweetness on my tongue! The smoke was smooth and flavorful. It was great! If the entire cigar was this good it would be a hands down winner.

Unfortunately I experienced this great taste on only 2 or 3 puffs of the final third.

On this occassion, these 2 or 3 puffs were intermingled with too much overall unpleasantry for my tastes.

Total smoking time:
Approx 1 hour 15 mins

Final conclusion:
Based on this single experience I can't recommend this to my friends.

The negatives outweighed the positives for me.

Pros: Really good smoke
Cons: Didn't really have any

The appearance looked really good. Pre-light: nice and spongy along the lenght of the cigar. It looked like it was well constructed. The draw was really easy. The taste was smooth. I think it was one of the best cigars I've smoked. It had a kinda of a woodsy earthy taste. I really like it. I drunk a Killions and was a good combnation. I liked it through the whole smoke.
